About Aditi
I'm currently a Y6 Medical Student at the University of Cambridge and am studying Clinical Medicine. I hold a BA degree in Biological Natural Sciences (Physiology, Development and Neuroscience). Whilst this might seem like I do predominantly Biology, rest assured my degree has encompassed much of the other sciences I studied in school.
I attended an "all-girls" school growing up and found that science and maths were heavily despised and deemed "difficult". I am passionate about teaching these subjects because I truly believe that a strong foundation is all you need to turn these subjects into enjoyable learning experiences!

I like lessons to be interactive - nothing is more boring than you staring at a slideshow. I find the teaching methods I've experienced at University are a good way to try approaching questions you may be unsure about. This would involve a heavy emphasis on learning through example and by answering questions. I am aiming to hold lessons that are 1-2 hours long at most.
I tutored in GCSE Biology during the COVID pandemic to help students gain the teaching they were missing in school. I think I'd be best suited to help students around Y9-11 to prepare for GCSEs, the aim being to set a clear foundation in a subject so you feel confident enough to even carry it on at A-Level if you wish.
