About Tamarin
I'm a Law and English tutor with a strong academic background, real-world legal experience, and a passion for helping others learn and grow. I was called to the Bar in 2023 after completing the Bar Course and earning a Master’s in Law with Distinction. I now work in criminal defence law, where I advocate for clients facing some of the most complex and challenging situations in the justice system. Teaching has always been a natural extension of my work and studies. I supported many of my peers during Bar School and have mentored A-Level and undergraduate law students over the years. I’ve also tutored English Literature, and I’m confident teaching English Language, Literature, and Creative Writing up to GCSE level, and Law from A-Level right through to postgraduate Bar training. My approach is firm but fair—I’m here to challenge and support you. I’ll never judge, and I’ll explain things as many times as you need until it makes sense. All I ask is that you try your best. Outside of law and teaching, I’m a keen runner and swimmer, and I love reading and writing poetry. I bring that same discipline and creativity into my sessions—combining structure with encouragement to help every student reach their potential.

I'm a firm but fair tutor who believes that with the right support, anyone can thrive—no judgement here, just patience and persistence! I’ll happily explain something 100 times if that’s what it takes for it to click, and all I ask in return is that you try your best. Lessons are an hour long, and I’m always open to taking a short break if you need one. I hold an undergraduate degree in Law, completed the Bar Course, and was called to the Bar in 2023. I also earned a Master’s in Law with Distinction. During my time at Bar School, I tutored many of my peers and have since mentored A-level and undergraduate law students. I’ve also tutored English Literature and am comfortable teaching English (Literature, Language, and Creative Writing) up to GCSE level, and Law from A-Level all the way to postgraduate Bar training. Whether you're looking for clarity, confidence, or just a bit of encouragement, I'm here to help you get there.
