About Jiya
Hi! I am a high school student with strong academic performance and active involvement in my community. I have volunteered as a tutor for students around the world through an online tutoring platform, where I have gained experience helping learners understand difficult concepts in a clear and supportive way. I truly enjoy teaching others and helping students build both their skills and confidence.

My teaching method focuses on understanding the “why” behind math, not just memorizing formulas. I help students build strong foundations by explaining concepts in multiple ways and encouraging problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson includes introducing a topic, learning it through different methods, guided practice, independent practice, and a short review at the end to make sure everything is understood.
Why choose me? I have volunteer tutoring experience and a strong academic background. I am patient, supportive, and enjoy helping students feel more confident in math. My goal is not only to improve skills but also to make learning less stressful and more enjoyable.
My lessons are mainly designed for students in 1st through 5th grade who want to get ahead, catch up, strengthen their skills, or learn math in a fun and engaging way.
I genuinely enjoy math, and I hope to share that excitement while helping students succeed and build confidence in themselves.
