About Tessa
Physics has been part of a sixteen-year teaching career during which I have guided 860 students, from nervous beginners to more advanced students preparing for serious examinations. My own training spans both academic study and years of applied technical work, giving me a strong practical grounding beyond purely formal study. I am a demanding but genuinely supportive tutor, believing real mastery requires patient, deliberate practice rather than rushed repetition before a deadline. Several of my tutoring relationships have lasted many years, letting me guide a student's entire academic development from first lessons through confident, independent exam performance. Watching former students go on to succeed in demanding programs remains one of the most meaningful parts of my career.
