About Dini
I am an enthusiastic saxophone tutor with over 9 years of experience teaching college students. I believe learning music should be inspiring, fun, and practical. My teaching style focuses on understanding the student’s goals, developing strong techniques, and exploring musical creativity. I blend classical exercises with jazz, pop, and improvisation lessons to create a well-rounded learning experience.
Innovation is at the heart of my teaching. I use play-along tracks, recording sessions, and interactive exercises to help students track their progress and stay motivated. I also focus on music theory, ear training, and performance skills, so students grow into confident musicians.
I create lessons that are personalised, engaging, and easy to follow. I encourage experimentation, expressiveness, and consistent practice while maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment.
If you want to perform in college bands, solo concerts, or simply enjoy music as a personal hobby, I am here to guide you. My saxophone teaching methodology is student-centred and emphasises adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. I recognise that every learner is unique, so I design lessons to match their individual learning style, pace, and goals using demonstration, listening exercises, and hands-on practice.
Flexibility ensures lessons evolve according to progress, motivation, and interests, keeping learning engaging, productive, and inspiring. Collaboration allows students to actively participate, experiment with improvisation, and share ideas, fostering both confidence and creativity.
I cultivate a positive and supportive environment where achievements are celebrated and challenges are embraced as learning opportunities. Lessons cover saxophone technique, musical expression, improvisation, performance skills, and theory to provide a complete foundation.
Beyond saxophone, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and ensemble performance. My aim is to nurture confident, expressive musicians with a lifelong passion for music.
