About Sam
I am accounting and finance tutor and course design and assessment consultant. With over 17 years of experience in education, my mission is making finance education accessible, exciting, and relevant through business intelligence practices (performing typical tasks with the least amount of time and 100% accuracy). I taught students from more than 40 countries.
I am a certified Microsoft Excel Expert with a PhD in Finance. I am also an avid user of AI in financial processes. Students nominated me for best teaching awards every year.

I also place significant emphasis on mindset framing and dismantling mental barriers. My courses have helped students secure positions at top firms such as Barclays, Goldman Sachs, NHS, DWS, QNB, and CBRE.

I follow a detailed breakdown of concepts, calculations and processes. I link the topic to relatable examples in our day to day lives and to the latest industry practices. My approach of teaching is super fun and with upbeat energy, and you will frequently engage with practice questions and cases right after covering a set of concepts or processes. This is the only way it will stick in your mind, as soon as you do it yourself, make mistakes and figure out how to correct them.
I also offer career guidance and mentoring.
