About Jessica
Custom study plan for your goals ensures that we never waste a single minute of our time together. To be honest, I sometimes worry that students try to learn too much at once, so I prioritize incremental progress. I draw on my 13 years of experience and BEd background to simplify the process of writing letters or perfecting your accent.
We start by mapping out where you are and where you need to be. Clarity is everything. You will practice business English through simulated interviews and realistic office scenarios.
I provide direct corrections on your phrasal verbs and sentence structure during every single session. My methods are methodical and exam-savvy to keep you on track. It is a pleasure to watch my students gain the confidence to express their true selves in a new language.

Vocabulary building and email writing are often the most intimidating parts of learning English for my adult students. Honestly, I find that even advanced speakers struggle with the subtle mechanics of phrasal verbs. My own journey as a French speaker who worked in English-speaking environments helps me relate to the challenges immigrants face.
I earned my BEd at the University of Ottawa to ensure my teaching methods are pedagogically sound. During my 13 years of experience, I have assisted 370 students including university applicants and various professionals.
I enjoy breaking down the difference between formal business English and the everyday conversation required for life in Canada. Whether you are prepping for a high-stakes interview or refining your presentation skills, I adapt my methods to your pace.
