About Thomas
Teaching 281 students has shown me that breadth of knowledge is only useful when paired with deep conceptual clarity. It is strange that most textbooks make physics feel harder than it actually is by skipping the intuitive connections.
My background covers thermodynamics, modern physics, electrostatics, and complex electricity and magnetism. I handle everything from lab work to high level competition prep for JEE, NEET, and Olympiad aspirants. I structure my teaching by giving you weekly numerical problem sets with worked solutions to ensure consistent progress. I confess that I prefer showing you the messy derivation over simply giving you a formula to plug numbers into. My MSc Applied Mathematics degree from Khalifa University helps me simplify the vector calculus often found in electromagnetism.
