About Xiomara
Do you ever wonder why math feels like a foreign language despite constant practice? Since earning my MMath from Singapore Management University, I have spent 12 years helping students bridge that gap. I focus heavily on arithmetic and number sense, algebra, and competition math prep.
Many students struggle with mental math or mensuration until we break them down together. SAT/ACT math prep, calculus, and conceptual learning are core parts of my daily routine as I provide homework help to those who need it. My method relies on consistent, worked examples until the process becomes second nature. This is about ensuring understanding that actually lasts, rather than relying on short-term memorization for a specific deadline.

Admitting that math can be overwhelming at first is often the most productive step a student takes. My sessions incorporate mock tests with error analysis before exams to ensure no gaps remain in your knowledge.
These assessments pinpoint exactly where you lose marks so we can address them immediately. As an MMath graduate, I use my technical background to simplify difficult concepts into manageable steps.
We move through algebra, calculus, and competition prep with a clear, direct methodology. I maintain a steady pace to build your technical accuracy and overall confidence. Seeing you tackle problems independently is my primary goal during our time together. I genuinely enjoy the process of turning confusion into success for every student I work with.
