About Matthew
I am currently a sixth form student studying A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, and Computer Science. I have a deep passion for mathematics and enjoy challenging myself, having entered my school's annual maths challenges every year.
Outside of my academic work, I stay active through bouldering, a sport I find both physically and mentally engaging. I also coach parkour and gymnastics for children aged 5 to 10.

I focus on making complex subjects more approachable for my students by breaking down difficult concepts into simple, digestible parts. I use real exam questions and encourage lots of practice, as this is crucial to be successful in maths.
Lessons last for 50 minutes and are tailored to the individual, focusing on areas where they may be struggling or need extra support. My goal is to foster confidence and independent thinking, encouraging students to solve problems on their own while providing guidance when necessary.
My own academic experience has provided me with a strong understanding of Maths which I teach to GCSE-level students. I offer lessons for students from year 10 who are preparing for their GCSE exams,. My lessons are ideal for students looking to improve their understanding and performance in Maths.
