About Simrit
I have previously tutored for a tuition centre for 1 year, and it was an experience I massively enjoyed. I loved being able to help students gain confidence and improve in areas they struggled to feel confident in at school. Whilst ensuring lessons go to plan, it is important to ensure students feel comfortable to ask questions and fully feel at ease whilst learning. I believe building an honest and open foundation with students is critical to ensure they feel comfortable asking questions and can make the most of lessons.

Highly qualified in Mathematics, having achieved an A* at GCSE and an A at A-Level. I have previously tutored at Cherry Hill Tuition centre, teaching students ranging from ages 5-16 in all areas of Mathematics and English. Lessons last 1 hour, unless requested otherwise. My teaching style consists of teaching examples, and then allocating time for the student to practise examples, constantly ensuring the correct method is used and the topic is fully understood, with a review at the end of each lesson. Workbooks are used to structure the curriculum. Each lesson is tailored to the specific needs of students, to ensure we are aligned, I send over lesson plans prior to the beginning of classes, with constant reviews as sessions progress.
