About Skyla
Hi, I'm Skyla. I completed my A levels with 3 A*s in History, English Literature and Religious Studies. Next year I'm off to the University of Cambridge to study Philosophy and Theology. I've helped students such as my sister prepare for her GCSEs, and am just beginning my A-Level tutoring journey. I love helping others, and will do everything that I can to help you succeed in your subjects!

I treat every student individually, taking into account both their end goals and personality. For most qualifications, essay writing is key and so that may play a big part of the lesson. However, if the student is more confident with the written aspect, we can focus on ideas, themes and memorising them. I believe discussion and debate are essential to learning, and that working on the student's own confidence within the subject can create immeasurable difference. Usually, each lesson incorporates all of these elements. Lessons can be 30 minutes to an hour. I am happy to teach all ages and abilities up to A level, and a tutoring reference is also available upon request.
