About Rita
I have a degree in painting and have specialised in Acrylic paint and mediums, having written and curated the book Acrylic: Do more Art. Working as an artist and author, I'm passionate about sharing the potential of art to engage people, start conversations, and even heal.
I aim to inspire everyone to let go of any insecurities about their artistic endeavours and prompt them to take risks and experiment with paint and other mediums, whilst providing the technical knowledge to improve capabilities and confidence.
My aim is to get everyone to make, create and share more art.

I am an artist and adult learning enthusiast, and have worked with individuals with learning disabilities, ADHD and dyslexia, adapting the lessons length and structure to meet their needs. Besides tailoring the sessions to your individual's needs, I'll also adapt the content to each person skills and aims.
Basic introduction to colour theory and acrylic paint, free-expression techniques like marbling and fluid art, using acrylic mediums, journaling with acrylic and advanced portraiture are some of the sessions you can book. I would like to know what your creative interests and objectives are ahead of each session, to make sure all the expectations are met.
Each session can take from 45-90 min (with breaks), depending on the skills levels and techniques chosen, and will always include a brief introduction, the practical application of the techniques and plenty of details and tips on best practices. I'll send a clear structure of each session and a list of materials needed ahead of it; just contact me for further details.
