About Eleni
I’m a Maths tutor with more than 9 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Philosophy. My favourite part of teaching is showing how geometry and trigonometry can be fun and meaningful. I use programmes like GeoGebra and Desmos to create interactive lessons where students can see mathematics in motion. Concepts like transformations, trigonometric graphs, and geometric proofs suddenly feel more accessible. I believe spatial reasoning is the key to understanding both simple and advanced ideas. Proofs are taught as logical journeys rather than intimidating hurdles. Students appreciate the mix of hands-on problem-solving and big-picture thinking. I make connections between geometry and real-world applications, such as art, navigation, or architecture. My teaching style is flexible, patient, and always adapted to each learner’s needs. Philosophy has shaped my ability to explain reasoning with clarity. I encourage students to value both the logic and the creativity of mathematics. In every session, my goal is to build confidence alongside understanding. Geometry is not just maths—it’s a way of exploring the world around us.
