I'm an actor, writer, director, and acting coach with over two dozen years of professional experience in the USA, Europe, and Africa. I teach several acting styles & methods, catering to each person.

About Irungu
I studied acting for over 7 years. My Bachelor's Degree (BFA) in Theater/Acting is from Rutgers Univ, and my Master's Degree (MFA) also in Acting is from the Univ. of California: San Diego. I have been a professional actor for two dozen years in theater, TV (HBO, CBS, NBC, AMC, etc), and film. I'm a proud member of the SAG-AFTRA and AEA guilds. I have also taught acting for over two decades. I prepare people for acting schools & conservatories, castings, and coaching my clients on set. I have also taught at the collegiate level as an adjunct faculty member in the United States. I get an absolute thrill to watch the pogression of a student or person from the first day of class to their final presentation.

An Actor is one of the most powerful storytellers. Acting is the ability to tell a story truthfully under imaginary circumstances. An actor uses their bodies, voice, heart, and senses.
As an actor, your body is your instrument. To fine-tune it, we use vocal exercises, build physical strength and stamina, imagination tools, text analysis, and emotional prep.
I teach introductory classes through to advanced-level ones in on-camera and theatrical acting. I have taught children, teenagers and adults. Some acting styles/schools I've utilized: Meisner Technique, Clowning, Viewpoints, Laban and Michael Chekhov techniques.
