About Bill
With proven driving expertise and years of experience, I help students develop advanced, confident driving skills. Too many drivers are mentally "checked out" on the road, focused only on the destination. But real driving happens in those in-between moments — which can be complex and hazardous without proper training. I’ll teach you to stay present, aware, and in control.

Whether you’re terrified of merging onto the 5, or you think you already know it all — I could be the correction you need!
You’ll find plenty of “instructors” online. Many learned to drive themselves six months ago and now teach between Uber shifts. Others sell “online driving lessons” — as if mastering California traffic is something you pick up watching a screen, like Grand Theft Auto. This is your life. It deserves more than a webcam and a guess.
I am one of the thoroughly qualified types. I was trained where professionals are made: the National Academy for Professional Driving (NAPD), the curriculum used by law enforcement across North America. I hold certification from Bobby Ore Tactical Driver Training, the standard trusted by armed forces for precision and defensive driving under pressure. That pedigree matters when the stakes are real.
To the UCSD, SDSU, et al international students: I’ve taught drivers from China, India, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and beyond. I understand licensing anxiety, language barriers, and the jump from your home country’s roads to San Diego freeways. You will leave confident, technical, and test-ready.
To locally stationed military students: Many of you joined right out of high school and never moved past a learner’s permit. You’re disciplined — you just need proper instruction to match. I’ve worked with sailors, marines, and soldiers transitioning to civilian roads. We get it done right, no shortcuts.
I don’t do “good enough.” I don’t do YouTube tutorials. I produce drivers who think, anticipate, and command their vehicle.
If you want Fast & Furious, I’m not your guy. If you want a certified, credentialed instructor with global and military experience — you’ve found the standard others try to imitate.

Perfect! Bill helped me learn how to drive very quickly and effectively! I had a bit of a tight budget that he was willing to aid me by having some driving lessons with him, then telling me exactly what to practice in between our lessons, allowing me to learn just as much while spending less money! Very informative and he pushed me to do things that I hadn't done before which allowed me to learn very quick! He knew the laws well and helped me learn very safe driving techniques. Thanks Bill!
