About Mariam
Hello! I am Mariam and I am an S6 pupil studying my Advanced Highers. I am studying Biology, Chemistry and English and have done so throughout my Secondary School career. I thoroughly enjoy these subjects and feel as though I am able to understand them quite well. I am looking to apply for Medicine in October of this year. I am an energetic, understanding person, I am able to explain certain difficult topics in a way that is accessible to all and am happy to go over things until your child feels as though they have fully understood.

I am an S6 pupil in Aberdeen currently studying Advanced Higher Biology, Chemistry and English. Typically, I offer hour long lessons soley based on one subject however, I am flexible and can work with you to decide on what works best. I am offering lessons for those studying National 5 and Higher English, Biology and Maths. I received A's in my exams and have previous notes that I can use to aid in my teaching. I adopt a child centred approach where I will work with your child to ensure that they attain the very best grades possible. I am available to help with homework, projects/assignments or to teach the whole course from start to finish. I will start the lesson off with a quick introduction about myself and will allow your child to do so as well and from there, will ask them to complete a few questions I have prepared prior to the lesson. After they have completed these questions we will have the opportunity to talk over them and clear up any misunderstanding as well as look at where mistakes have been made. Following this, we will work together to identify areas of weakness and ensure we work on them. I find communication with the tutored child as well as parent very important.
