About Heidi
Hi, my name is Heidi and I’m a third year student looking to find some tutoring opportunities for English/History. I’m a patient teacher who is passionate about all things English Lit (and some history). When studying and preparing for humanities it can be easy to waste time and get frustrated not knowing where to start, and I’d be great for helping with some tips and tricks.
I’m able to help with essay writing, preparing for exams, and general understanding of coursework.

I will usually start lessons with new students by learning their goals and current level of understanding for the tutoring sessions. I like to also read and understand the learning plan and schedule of their class so I can use that as my guideline, so it’s good if students do have this prepared or send it ahead of time.
I will then prepare with them a loose learning schedule that’s catered to their needs and goals. I like to begin each session by helping the student with any questions/concerns they have, and work through any assigned homework. If we work through these in time I do come to each session with a plan for what we are to study/work through in order to prepare for examinations.
