About Wilin
I have more than 9 years of experience teaching piano to college students and am passionate about helping them reach their musical goals. My teaching style is creative, flexible, and student-centred, designed to meet individual learning needs.
I focus on building strong piano fundamentals, including technique, sight-reading, rhythm, and music theory. To keep lessons interesting, I use innovative methods such as improvisation, composition projects, and modern music arrangements.
I also help students build confidence in performance and musical expression. My goal is to guide students towards steady progress, enjoyable learning, and a lifelong love for piano and music.

My piano teaching approach focuses on creativity, critical thinking, and structured learning. I believe piano lessons should be fun, meaningful, and confidence-building.
Creativity is encouraged through exploring favourite songs, experimenting with improvisation, and learning various music styles. Students learn to express themselves and stay motivated.
As a mentor, I teach rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple, clear steps. Students are guided to analyse their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is emphasised through goal setting, consistent practice routines, and regular progress tracking. This helps students stay disciplined, motivated, and confident.
Along with piano, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and basic composition to develop well-rounded musical skills.
