About Kyler
With over 8 years of experience in vocal coaching, I have had the privilege of guiding students from all walks of life—whether beginners, seasoned performers, or working professionals looking to refine their craft. Throughout my career, I have worked with more than 250 students, helping them discover and cultivate their natural voice. My approach to teaching is rooted in flexibility and empathy, as I understand that each student’s voice and learning style are unique. Whether a student is looking to perform in a school play, audition for a professional role, or simply improve their vocal health, my lessons are personalized to meet their specific needs. I begin each lesson by assessing the student's vocal range, breathing capacity, and technique, which helps me develop a tailored plan for their progress. From basic breathing exercises to advanced vocal techniques such as resonance control, vibrato, and mix voice development, I ensure that each student gains a solid understanding of vocal mechanics. I also introduce ear training, helping students develop their musical ear so they can identify pitch, harmonies, and rhythmic patterns, which is essential for both solo performances and group singing. In addition to technical skills, I focus on emotional connection to music. I believe a great performance is not just about hitting the right notes but about conveying the emotions behind the lyrics. This is why I incorporate exercises on emotional expression, stage presence, and confidence-building into my lessons. For students preparing for performances or auditions, I simulate real-world scenarios to help them practice in front of an audience, offering feedback on vocal delivery, body language, and emotional resonance. Over the years, many of my students have gone on to perform in high school and college musicals, compete in singing competitions, and successfully audition for musical theater productions. I am proud to have helped hundreds of students not only improve their technical abilities but also discover their authentic vocal identity. My lessons are designed to be supportive and inspiring, so students can build confidence, refine their technique, and most importantly, enjoy the journey of discovering their voice. I work with a variety of genres, including pop, classical, opera, jazz, and musical theater, ensuring students can explore different styles while building a versatile and healthy voice. Whether online or in-person, I prioritize creating a positive, motivating, and nurturing learning environment that supports each student’s unique path. My goal is not only to help my students become better singers but to empower them to become confident, creative artists who can express themselves fully through their voices.

Over the course of my 8 years as a vocal coach, I have seen the transformative power of voice training—not just in musical skill, but in self-expression, confidence, and personal growth. I approach vocal instruction as a journey that blends the precision of technique with the freedom of artistry. Every student brings their own experiences, influences, and ambitions, and I shape lessons around those personal elements. Our work begins with strengthening vocal fundamentals such as breath efficiency, tone clarity, posture, and muscle coordination.
These aspects are introduced gradually and reinforced through practical, song-based exercises that make the learning process both relevant and engaging. As students gain control over their instrument, I help them apply those skills to more nuanced techniques, including legato phrasing, text delivery, stylistic articulation, and dynamic shading. I believe that a singer’s development is as much emotional as it is technical, so we spend time uncovering the meaning behind songs, understanding character motivations, and practicing expressive delivery.
In my studio, genres coexist—students may sing Puccini one week and Billie Eilish the next—because versatility is an essential part of modern musicianship. I also support students with stage training, performance psychology, and preparation for real-world singing contexts, whether they be auditions, recitals, or professional gigs. By fostering a studio environment that is challenging but safe, structured yet imaginative, I help students expand their artistic boundaries and grow in both skill and self-belief. My goal is to build independent, expressive singers who trust their voices and love using them.
