I present the class a real life application question /brain teaser of the topic for the lesson to pick their brains in the form of a pre discussion to build interest. You are only keen to learn if you are curious.
I leave the question unanswered ,then tell them "maybe what I have to present might help them in answering it a bit better and quicker"
I present the lesson as effectively as possible insuring that the topic is thoroughly went through.
I will give them a tut which I will help them as they doing it.if they want do more problems I will give them ,so as to build their confidence to answer the question that I gave at the top of the lesson.
Then I give them homework to do and submit online in the form of a Google form quiz.
