About Max
After immigrating to New Zealand from England I settled in at school and strove to do the best I could academically. I found a particular passion for mathematics and physics (combined with my prior admiration of aerospace) which led me to study engineering in Christchurch today. In my senior year of school, I won the Top Scholar award alongside several subject prizes.
In a COVID world during school, I developed and made tutoring lessons within my school. This was primarily online, however, did become available in person after the lockdown.
In my first year of university, I applied the same approach and set up an engineering-wide Discord server (~650 members) so student-wide tutoring was available.

I am a 3rd-year aerospace engineering student at the University of Canterbury. After completing 1st-year university papers in year 13 whilst setting up tutoring opportunities in person I have taken my experience and passion for mathematics and tutoring online.
I am happy to arrange lessons around your schedule and can offer sessions typically 30-60 minutes. I advise short sessions frequently over longer sessions sporadically.
Although I am deep into my university studies the NCEA content is fresh in my mind and I am constantly applying what I have learned in what I am doing today. The curriculum can be dull, however, I aim to provide a fun approach to learning content.
