About Raghav
As an aspiring aerospace engineer looking to enter a career in motorsports, I will be working with people from different backgrounds and various skill-sets. Personally, I learn through experience and building my skills. Teaching provides the perfect opportunity to work with students with different backgrounds and abilities to build on my current skills and experience. During my studies, I have found that patience and understanding the fundamentals are key to building a solid foundation in any subject. As a teacher, I will work with those same principles in mind. I am happy to explain concepts multiple times and work with the student's natural learning pace. I believe the best way to strengthen your knowledge in Maths is to practise as well as see the practical applications of the subject. I was President of my School Engineering Society in which I gave talks and held activities on various topics and industries within Engineering. This involved giving presentations and breaking down the fundamentals within Engineering topics. I had 15-20 students attend my weekly talks on average from ages 14 to 17. I have had opportunities such as my time in the Engineering Society to build my communication and public speaking skills and have always thrived on constructive feedback. I look forward to working with my students and understanding from them what I can do to tailor our lessons according to them to ensure they benefit our lessons.

My teaching style is based on building and strengthening my students' knowledge. I focus on understanding and practising the fundamentals to tackle any type of challenging questions using the secure foundation we built. I find that I am able to engage with students of all ages, by understanding how they think and approach problems. Using this method, I adapt my explanations to help the student learn, understand, and apply their knowledge.
