About Khusshi
I started tutoring because I’ve always had a strong passion for mathematics and science, and I genuinely enjoy helping others understand concepts that once felt confusing or overwhelming.
Throughout my own academic journey, I realized that the difference between struggling and succeeding often comes down to how concepts are explained. A lot of students aren’t “bad” at math or science — they just haven’t been taught in a way that makes sense to them. That’s what motivated me to start tutoring.
I wanted to create a supportive and personalized learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building their confidence. Seeing students go from feeling stuck to actually understanding and solving problems on their own is what makes tutoring so rewarding for me.
My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to help them develop strong problem-solving skills and a genuine understanding of math and science that will benefit them long-term.

Approach to Tutoring & Teaching Style
Our approach to teaching math and science is centered around building true understanding, not just memorization. We focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, logical steps so students can confidently apply what they learn to any problem.
Techniques & Methodology
Our sessions are fully personalized and conducted one-on-one online, allowing us to adapt to each student’s pace and learning style. We use a structured approach:
Start with identifying gaps in understanding
Explain concepts clearly using step-by-step methods
Work through guided examples together
Reinforce learning with targeted practice questions
Build exam technique and problem-solving skills
We also emphasize active learning — students are encouraged to think through problems rather than passively watch, which leads to stronger retention and independence.
Lesson Structure & Length
Lessons are typically 120 minutes. Each session is focused, efficient, and tailored to current school content, upcoming assessments, or revision.
Qualifications & Experience
We have strong academic backgrounds in mathematics and science, with experience tutoring students across a range of year levels. Our familiarity with the VCE curriculum allows us to target exactly what students need to succeed in assessments and exams.
