About Finn
Hi, I'm Finn. I'm an Aerospace Engineering student at Brighton uni. I've always loved maths and physics, both in the process of learning and helping my classmates to understand the material if they got stuck as well.
I'm taking the long way round to get my degree; I took humanity A-levels rather than the STEM subjects of my peers and spent a year studying history at Warwick University - which was not for me - before coming back to maths and physics and switching to engineering with a foundation year (which I got a first in, in lieu of A-level grades). And I am now the Vice-President of Aerospace Society at Brighton.
The point is, I understand what it's like to make mistakes and mess up, and I hope that I can help you to learn from them and actually enjoy the process of it all, just as I've done.

I think the most important part of tutoring is that you feel comfortable with me to make mistakes and learn from them, and try your best. That's why my first session is free so we can see if we will be a good fit, and to understand what you need to work on.
I primarily host on Zoom with an online whiteboard so we can collaborate on projects together, but can do in-person sessions if you're in the Brighton area. The contents of the lessons will be tailored for each student.
Each lesson lasts 1 hour, preferably 1/2 hours per week depending on your needs.
