About Yasin
I didn’t always excel academically — in Year 10, I was at the bottom of my triple science class despite working hard. After understanding how to learn effectively, I transformed my approach, achieving top GCSE and A-Level grades, and now study Engineering at the University of Bristol. I’m passionate about sharing the methods, mindset, and problem-solving techniques that helped me succeed so students can build confidence and reach their potential.

Yasin has gained a lot about the best ways to break down difficult ideas into simple, doable steps through his studies and experience as a mentor. This helps students gain both confidence and technical skills. He makes sure that students are ready for tests by making sure they understand the basic ideas before moving on to exam-style questions. Furthermore, he is adaptable in how he instructs, and he tailors each session to suit the student's learning style and goals, whether this involves preparing for a specific test, going over topics that are difficult for them, or improving their overall problem-solving skills. His structured yet supportive teaching style helps students stay engaged, motivated, and steadily progressing towards higher grades. Typically his lessons are 90 minutes long, ensuring him and his student can recap, learn and apply. He teaches a wide range of students from Key Stage 2 - Key Stage 5.
