About Lois
As a 19 year old currently studying towards a Masters in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol, it hasn't been long since I was in the same position as my students. I find that being relatable to increases the effectiveness of my lessons, making it easier for your child to feel comfortable and get properly involved!
I am DBS checked, as I also volunteer for the charity IntoUniversity working with younger disadvantaged people get into university.
In my spare time, I am an avid reader, and mountain cyclist!

Maths and Science specialist for secondary, GCSE and A-level students. I have had over three years of experience with tutoring and have received nothing but positive feedback.
Each lesson would be an hour long, focusing on a topic chosen beforehand by the student (or me if they're unsure!) as something they are less confident in. I recognise the importance to maximise the usefulness of our time together.
Each lesson will be structured in the following ways:
1. Before the session, communication between me and you (the parent) to decide on the area of focus for the week.
2. During the session, an initial 5 minute debrief and recap of previous sessions to facilitate better memory and cohesiveness between sessions.
3. Main body of the session, including interactive activities.
4. End of the session, 5 min recap of everything we covered (and I'm always happy to run over).
5. Communication via text method with me and you outlining what we achieved and addition of any useful resources sent for outside of session work if necessary!
