About Alexandra
I’ve tutored students from the grade levels of K-5th grade and even middle school level, for about 3 years. I teach to a class of 25 students for an after school program. Spanish and English were taught to me at the same time and I had to switch languages in different environments. I would go the extra mile to read, write, and improve my comprehension skills at a very young age to boost my confidence! I believe there’s benefits in reading and writing that go beyond academics. Just like an artist painting, reading and writing can be a creative outlet. It can be inspiring, therapeutic, and academically influential. I know all students don’t learn the same way others do, which can be discouraging, but that is a strength! Your learning style if your strength and it should be taught and used to help you be ahead of what’s being taught, rather than behind. I believe all students are capable of being experts in the English language and use their skills to inspire themselves and others. Being able to step into a room and be unapologetically intellectual is the best feeling and I’m here to support and teach students that they’re able to do the same!

I love reading and writing! I believe learning a new language or learning the ins and outs of English can be difficult but that’s why I’m here! I will you help you understand the English language according to your learning style so you’re able to fully understand. There are 4 main learning styles; Visual, Auditory, Reading and Writing, and Kinesthetic. There are more styles, that I’m also open to learn and teach to! I will create lessons that are easy to understand but that are also creative and not boring. I know learning the academics of the English language can be boring, but I believe the way you teach it can make a huge impact.
