About Pablo Luis
I am a historian, writer and translator, currently finishing my AHRC-funded PhD in Arts and Humanities at the Royal College of Art, where I have been a Visiting Lecturer on several postgraduate courses. My expertise is the history of curating, contemporary art and contemporary political ideas. I have recently joined the MA in Curating at MIMA/Teesside University as an Associate Lecturer. Prior teaching engagements have included Manchester School of Art, Bath Spa University, Liverpool Hope and University of Navarra (Spain).
I am a published writer and translator. In collaboration with writer Arca Saldaña, I translated and edited the first anthology of essays by George Eliot ever published in Spanish, which received critical acclaim.
Writing is my practice. I understand that writing can be a daunting process—a skill that nobody teaches us while being a constant demand as we purse our studies. I am here to help you structure your ideas and deliver excellent scholarship.
