About Shruti
When I was old enough to speak, my parents enrolled me in a learning academy named Kumon. For those unfamiliar, Kumon includes math and reading programs that help kids like me excel in mathematics and get ahead of the curve in school. From kindergarten until 8th grade in my public education, I was chosen to be part of a select group of accelerated math students, residing at the top of my class each year. I excelled in Algebra specifically and would consider it to be my best teaching subject. I am also really good with kids, having two younger brothers and formerly assisting my mom run an at-home daycare.

My teaching method is definitely practice, practice, practice! It’s extremely important when you are learning a new skill to keep practicing until it becomes second nature. The most rewarding part of learning is always that “ohhhh” moment and that is always what I strive for in my teaching strategies.
