About Vincent
Completing my 3rd year at the Ecole polytechnique, I specialized in condensed matter physics. I have strong skills in Maths, Physics and Industrial Sciences and from the 6th to the 3rd year. Currently trainee researcher and an oral examinator in preparatory class, I have a good experience of teaching.

My teaching method is based on the profile and ambitions of the student. For a student in difficulty, the goal is not to assemble knowledge to know by heart but to give him the little "tricks" that can unlock a situation. Often, if a pupil cannot solve an exercise by himself, this either indicates a bad presentation of the situation or a self-positioning of the student as "bad in this subject" which prevents him from taking initiatives without shame. The biggest job with a struggling student is to get him out of all the negative opinions he can have about himself and to raise his self-confidence with simpler problems.
An "ambitious" student who wants to improve his skills will be able to rely on my requirement, my experience of competitions and the large exercise bank I own that can then be used.
Finally, a curious student who only wants to learn about a particular field of science can also count on my passionate (and hopefully passionating) temperament!
