As an online piano tutor, I believe in building strong foundational skills, nurturing musical expression, and adapting instruction to each student's unique needs. I think that learning the piano should be both structured and fun. My goal is to guide students toward proficiency, a lifelong appreciation for music, and a good understanding of music.
I use a piano book by Keith Snell, the piano series and Accelerated Piano Adventures for the Older Beginner.
I specialize in helping first-time learners take their very first steps at the piano. With clear, patient instruction and a personalized approach, I will guide you from the basics of hand position and note reading to playing your first full songs—no prior experience required.
