Amy - Pyrford - Economics

Amy Elliott is organised and efficient. She knows her subject (A Level Economics) well and is able to pass on that understanding to my daughter. She is enthusiastic and encourages my daughter to think about the subject and push further for information. I highly recommend her.

Katie enjoys her tutorials because you are organised, plan her sessions with a clear objectives, quick to detect her misunderstandings/lack of knowledge and good at explaining so she comprehends. If only we had you as her teacher in school and knew that she that she was having such difficulties earlier on. She has definitely grown in confidence and improved. It is now up to her to learn the facts/principles and apply them to the questions set next week. We are certainly in a much better position

Amy was very kind and patient with my daughter. We had a very short time to prepare for her GCSE exam so she focused on the areas that needed improvement and explained these in a different way to what my daughter was used to, which helped a lot with her confidence facing exam questions.

My daughter Emily saw Amy for a number of extra-curricula Maths GCSE sessions as she was very unconfident in all aspects of Maths and was unlikely to pass a GCSE. Amy was calm, patient, organised and very friendly. She helped Emily build her confidence by narrowing the range of subjects she needed to focus on and showing her that she understood more than realised. She also taught her how to structure her exam so she got the best from it. I'm happy to say that Emily passed her GCSE!!

Amy was professional and friendly from the first communication, through meeting her at her home and since then. Very pleased to have found Amy and looking forward to the results from a son who is both engaged in the subject and truly motivated! Thank you Amy.
