About Francesca
I'm a 22 year old from Newcastle upon Tyne, studying Medicine at the University of Manchester.
After missing a place at Medical School straight from A levels, I decided to do a degree studying the Biology and Anatomy of the human body and then re-apply to Medical School 3 years later. I achieved a First Class BSc and successfully gained a place at Manchester to study Medicine. This was a long journey, with lots of tears (happy and sad) and I am determined to help others to achieve their goals!
I have a passion for Biology so tutoring provides me with a platform to share my knowledge and passion with others. I find teaching my students fulfilling and enjoyable, especially when I see my students develop their confidence, skills and understanding.
Tutoring allows me to make a positive impact on my student's school lives by helping them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals. I enjoy supporting and guiding others in their learning journey, which is a gratifying way to contribute to their success.
Teaching others also deepens my own understanding of the subjects. I break down complex concepts, explain them clearly, and adapt my teaching methods to suit different learning styles. This process strengthens my own grasp of the subject matter so teaching you is also benefitting me!

1 hour sessions covering content and exam style questions, tailoring it to each students needs.
5 years experience working at Kumon Maths and English Centre in Newcastle guiding students aged 5-18 through the programme.
My lessons are for any age up to GCSE level.
I also give advice when applying to Medical Schools - it is a long journey!
Qualifications:
Graduated with a First Class Honours studying Anatomy and Human Biology at the University of Liverpool.
Now in my second year at the University of Manchester studying Medicine.
