About Andrea
I have a Biology major with minors in chemistry and psychology. I found my niche as a tutor and coach after I made some life changes. I absolutely love to support people with their education goals! I have been teaching k-5 and 9th-grade children mostly math and English but also some social studies, science, and art.

For me, I think a tutor should support and add to the knowledge the student already has meaning the tutor needs to assess where the student is at and their learning style, then make a plan going forward with the agreement that the two of us are a team. We can check and change along the way. I support the student in 'figuring it out' with as little interference as needed so they can learn thoroughly.
