About Ben
Hi! I’m Ben, and I’m passionate about making science click for every student I work with. My background and degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and current work as a trainee teacher have taught me that no two students learn the same way— so the personal nature of tutoring is what makes this so rewarding for me.
I specialise in helping secondary school students navigate the challenges of Science with Biology being my specialty. Whether we’re diving into cell biology, understanding chemical reactions, or exploring the maths of physics, I tailor each lesson to your strengths to help you get that A* in your GCSE's.
My approach is hands-on, interactive, and, most importantly, flexible. My sessions focus on making science understandable—and even enjoyable! We’ll aim to tackle those tricky topics, homework or last minute revision together. We'll build your confidence, and ensure that you walk away with skills that go above and beyond GCSE.

My lessons are personal 1 on 1 lessons for year 7 - GCSE level, you provide the piece of homework/worksheet or a topic you are stuck on and I will make a focused lesson to not only help you pass but to create a great understanding and confidence on the topic.
I am based in Swansea but will also do lessons on zoom if location is an issue.
My lessons can run between 30 mins to an hour and a half. Thats up to you to decide.
I am currently a teacher in training and so I can use modern teaching methods and technology to help your understanding.
