About Demetrice
About Me I am a digital artist and animation instructor with extensive experience in visual development, environment design, and digital painting for film and television. I’ve worked professionally with Warner Bros. Studios and on productions such as Rick and Morty, contributing to props, vehicles, FX, and background design that support strong visual storytelling. In addition to studio work, I’ve taught Environment Design and Digital Painting at Gnomon School, where I focus on helping students translate creative ideas into clear, compelling visuals. My teaching approach blends industry-standard workflows with adaptable instruction that supports different learning styles and skill levels. I’m passionate about mentoring artists, fostering creative growth, and preparing students for real-world production environments. Whether designing for animation or teaching the next generation of artists, my goal is always to elevate storytelling through thoughtful, well-crafted visuals.

About My Lessons
My animation and visual development lessons are designed to bridge professional studio practice with clear, student-friendly instruction. Drawing from years of industry experience at Warner Bros. Studios, Rick and Morty, and as an instructor at Gnomon School, I guide students through the full visual storytelling process—from concept to final execution.
Lessons focus on environment design, props, vehicles, FX, and digital painting, with a strong emphasis on narrative clarity, design thinking, and industry standards. Students learn how to analyze scripts, develop cohesive visual themes, and create production-ready artwork using proven workflows used in professional animation pipelines.
I adapt my teaching to different learning styles, breaking down complex concepts into practical, actionable steps. Through live demos, critiques, and targeted feedback, students build confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and strengthen their visual voice while preparing for real-world animation and entertainment design careers.
