About Andi
I am a 20 year old college student pursuing a B.F.A in Animation at the Ringling College of Art and Design, where my portfolio and application granted me a Dean's Scholarship and admission into their exclusive Computer Animation program. I engaged in art throughout high school, winning a Silver Medal in Drawing and Illustration in the National Scholastic Art and Writing competition in my sophomore year, and getting a perfect score from the college board on my submitted AP Drawing portfolio in my junior year. Last summer, I was a teacher for a Tech Revolution camp, run by Lavner Education, where I taught a variety of classes including digital fashion design, drawing and illustration, and other technology related classes to kids aged 7-14. I love art, and I want to share that love by encouraging students to embrace their creativity!

Lesson plans vary depending on the type of class, but my overall method is to teach by doing the lesson alongside the student. This accounts for differences in learning preferences; visual learners can see an example of what they should be doing, auditory learners can listen to me explain what I am doing as I am doing it, and kinesthetic learners can learn by doing the lesson as it is taught. Teaching can be catered to the individual needs and preferences of the students, though. Lessons are for everyone! Whether the student is a child who loves cartoons and wants to draw them, or a high-school teen interested in attending art school and needs guidance on portfolio building, all ages and experience levels are welcome!

Details
If the student is learning traditional art ( on paper, not digital ), the student will need to acquire the materials themselves if the lesson is remote. If the lesson is in person, the student has an option to pay an additional fee for me to provide all needed materials and bring them to the lesson.
