About Oleksii
My goal is to become a professor, which consists of two parts - namely, research and teaching. I am currently working on both simultaneously, and teaching takes a core role in my life. With over 6 months of improving students' grades, I am convinced that my past experience is a solid foundation for my future career as a teacher and glad to implement my knowledge. Given that I've lived in countries with different mentalities (Ukraine, Italy, Germany, Singapore), I can easily adapt to different needs of and therefore different ways of teaching students with different backgrounds.

About the lesson

At the start, I get to know the students closer, what their hobbies and interests are. This way, I can understand what examples to use to make the material clearer for the students. By using real-life examples, I can ensure that the students gain a better understanding of the material.
My lessons last in general 45 to 90 minutes, with extension up to 120 minutes. The most effective length of a lesson, for me, is 60-90 minutes.
I have been working as a tutor in Germany for over 6 months, teaching K-12 students (mainly Secondary school), which helped me develop individual approaches to teaching.
My lessons are for any K-12 students who would like to boost their mathematical knowledge and prepare for PSLE, N-Levels, O-Level and A-Level.
