About Imogen
My name is Imogen Doward and I am 19 years old. I say my A level exams last year I am passionate about the subject of sociology and found that it was something I really enjoyed studying and revising. Alongside sociology, I also studied media and English language. I found that these subjects all had many things in common so I was able to master exam technique. Despite consistently acing my sociology mock exams with A/A* grades, I ended up with a B in the actual A-Level result. This experience taught me the importance of not just knowing the content, but also understanding the unique pressures that come with exam day. I draw on this firsthand experience to guide students in avoiding typical exam errors, and to help them achieve their true potential, like preparing stress-relief strategies for the exam day or focusing on time management skills.

My classes will take place on Zoom, meaning that I am accessible anywhere in the UK. Sessions typically range from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on what is best suited to the student. I use focused PowerPoints, tailored tasks, and interactive games to target any problem areas. My tutoring is designed for AQA A-Level Sociology students, helping them master content and exam technique.
