About Alayna
I am a recent GCSE graduate and current A-level student studying Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I achieved Grade 9s in AQA Biology, Chemistry and Physics, attaining exceptionally high marks across Triple Science. My academic performance was recognised through a science memorial award, presented to one student from my GCSE cohort. I have also participated in the Cambridge Biology Challenge, achieving distinctions throughout. Having recently completed the AQA specification and now continuing my studies in Biology and Chemistry at A-level, I have a strong and up-to-date understanding of the subject matter and examination requirements. I am passionate about science and enjoy making complex concepts clear, logical and accessible to students.

My teaching approach combines subject knowledge, exam technique and practice throughout each lesson. Rather than separating learning the content from preparing for exams, I integrate AQA-style questions and exam practice into my teaching. We will work through concepts clearly, apply them to exam questions and discuss how to structure answers to maximise marks. I will adapt lessons to each student’s individual strengths and weaknesses, using their answers and mistakes to identify areas for improvement.
