About Gabrielle
My name is Gabrielle and I have been tutoring since 2020. In 2023, I joined a tutor center where I worked full-time in a variety of subjects from Grades 10 to 12. While I loved and enjoyed my job, I left to begin studying architecture at Wits. While I have experience in many subjects, I focus mostly on mathematics and English now. I am a certified in a level 3 TEFL certificate, and am busy upgrading my certificate to a Level 5 TEFL diploma. I enjoy mathematics, as evident in my study of architecture, and enjoy helping students gain a deep understanding and passion for it.

In your free lesson, we will do benchmark tests as well as previous exams to pinpoint your exact problems. From there, we will do easier activities until we know exactly where your gap in knowledge began. I will then create a lesson plan for you based on your needs. We will try to repair the gaps in your knowledge, and still move forward to where you're expected to be today.
Our lessons will focus on 3 principals:
1) Theoretical understanding: Understanding the theory and logic behind the concepts.
2) Accuracy: Practicing the questions as you will get them on your exam or assignments
3) Practical applications: Understanding how the concepts are utilized in the real world.
These principals will help repair gaps in knowledge, keep you on track with what is currently expected of you, and prepare you for understanding next years work.

I work either online or at your home. If you would like lessons to be placed at your home, please note that I charge an additional R5 per 5 kilometers from my house to yours.
