About Toric
I am an architecture student at the University of Maryland. I have experience tutoring voluntarily for SAT preparation in both mathematics and reading/writing subjects, and have done other personalized tutoring for siblings, friends, and classmates. I enjoy both learning and helping others in their development.

Lessons are concept first, example-oriented, and further reinforced by practice. I prefer to focus on specific topics oriented to the individual student's needs by both connecting to things they already know and listening to what they say about what works best for their mind in a learning environment. I can teach mathematics from elementary to high school level, as well as essay writing of all levels. I try to encourage an appreciation for the value and enjoyment of the subject being taught, which I believe helps the learning process.
