Hi, My name is Kamaljot. I have completed my associate degree in computer science and presently continuing my studies in data science from UBC. I have three years experience of working as a math tutor and helping students of grade 3-12 achieve better grades.

My teaching approach is to start with recognizing student’s strengths and weaknesses and taking individual strengths into consideration during lesson planning. Moreover, I am also a firm believer in the idea that math concepts can only be mastered if you have absolute clarity of the concept right from the basics. My teaching style involves thorough understanding of the topic rather than just memorizing how to use formulas or methods in order to solve problems. Also, these time-tested learning techniques have achieved great results for many students of different academic standing including ADHD students during my three-year tutoring career.
