Hello! My name is Abbey, I am 27 years old with a degree in Fine Art and I am a practicing artist.
Day-to-day I work at a Secondary School as a trainee Art & Photography teacher and will get my teaching qualification in July 2023 to which I am on track to receiving. I am able to teach Art, Photography and Media Studies.
Before I began my journey into teaching, I worked in a secondary school as a Learning Support Assistant where I lead various interventions and supported SEN students in a variety of lessons. I pride myself in being a creative thinker who is passionate about helping others in their creative journey. However, what has led me to pursue teaching is my consistent and unwavering passion to help young people and leave a life-long impact on their lives. My range of ever growing experience means that I understand what it requires to set and achieve individualised goals in both educational and personal progression. My approach is compassionate, confidence-building and clear. There are no silly questions and I look forward to taking on new students and working to develop their potential. This is the start of my journey into online tutoring and I hope that I can show you my passion for the arts.
