About SUHARSHINI
Hello! I’m SUHARSHINI, a passionate and dedicated art teacher with a strong background in both creative arts and education. I hold a Diploma in Drawing, and I have experience teaching art to children and adults in fun, engaging, and skill-building ways. My goal is to nurture creativity, help students discover their unique artistic voice, and guide them through the wonderful world of colors, shapes, and imagination. With a warm, patient, and encouraging teaching style, I make sure every student feels supported—whether they're just starting or looking to sharpen their skills. I believe that art is not just about making pictures—it's about self-expression, confidence, and joy. My classes are designed to be both structured and flexible, balancing technique with freedom, and always focused on making learning enjoyable. With a blend of traditional methods and creative exploration, I help each student grow at their own pace and find pride in their progress. My teaching approach blends traditional drawing skills with modern, creative techniques. I focus on step-by-step guidance, hands-on practice, and visual demonstrations to help learners of all levels gain confidence in their artistic abilities. I use a mix of:
Pencil sketching, watercolors, oil pastels, acrylics
Live demonstrations
Reference-based and imagination-driven art
Creative challenges and art games to encourage free expression
Classes are structured to be interactive and student-centered, with individual feedback and encouragement for each learner.
Usual Class Structure:
Each class typically follows this flow:
Warm-up (5–10 mins): Quick sketches or color exercises
Lesson/Demo (15–20 mins): Introduction of the day’s topic or technique
Guided Practice (30–40 mins): Students work on their own artwork with my guidance
Sharing & Feedback (10 mins): We discuss artworks, offer positive feedback, and learn from each other
