About Amanda
After years of being passionate about art I graduated with a Certification in Art Fundamentals from Sheridan College and a Diploma in Digital Media Arts. For five years I taught art classes with the Town of Ajax community centres in after school programs with children from 6 to 12 years old. I was also involved in various summer camps which incorporated the arts! Perform website Administrative duties for YTV/Yabber.net monitoring online communities ensuring a safe environment for children. Entertain and interact with children as a host.

I developed course plans and implemented interesting and interactive material to increase children’s understanding and skills in a broad range of art fundamentals. Set and communicated ground rules for the classroom based on respect and personal responsibility. My way of teaching is never boring and I guide children from drawing basic shapes, to faces to favourite cartoon characters they watch every day! I understand each child is different and I like to bring out their own personal talent and passion.
