About Diana
My name is Diana and I am an artist, art professor, and founder of Artful and Educational. I am based in New York City and have an MFA in Studio Art, a BFA in Painting and Drawing, an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Art Education, and a Certificate in Media and Technology from Harvard Graduate School of Education. When I am not teaching, I work as a professional artist, exhibiting my art and participating in residencies in the New York City area, across the United States, and abroad.
In addition to teaching Studio Art, I also work with English Language Learners and offer conversation classes about Art, to help students with their reading, writing and speaking skills.

Hello and welcome! Do you want to improve your art skills to produce work that is personally meaningful and unique to you? Do you want to speak about art with more confidence? You are in the right place!
I love working with students to help them develop their creative voices and share them with others. I specialize in Foundational Drawing, Painting and Mixed Media, and have experience with Photography, Video, and Papermaking. In addition to working with individuals who are interested in art as a hobby, I also help students with applications to competitive art programs at middle schools, high schools and colleges, and have taught all ages, from preschool to adults.
