About Kayla

I am a highly creative person, creating art and freelancing while doing an MSc degree at King's College London, United Kingdom. I hope to spread the joy of creating art with anyone who is passionate. I believe art is for everyone, and there is no wrong way to create.

About the lesson

From choosing a fixed area/theme to focus on, to allowing the students maximum freedom to decide what they want to create, my lessons can be personalised to each student's needs. Lessons can last from 30 minutes to 1 hour. With 13 years of experience exploring numerous mediums and styles at art centres and secondary school, I believe I can provide a well-rounded experience for all levels of students. Whether you are here to sharpen your art skills or you are starting from zero, I am here to help; all ages are welcome. I have been nominated for poster design awards, commissioned for company logo designs and anthology designs, and received certificates from the National Art Examination Development Centre throughout my years creating art.

I volunteered with Kayla at our Universities nightline and worked closely with her on the exec. Kayla was always very welcoming and kind, especially to new comers who she always made a point to include in conversations- both work related and social. Despite being very friendly Kayla also seemed very diligent when it came to her duties in the exec: I don't think she ever skipped a meeting or training despite their long and often boring nature. I loved working with Kayla and think she would be a great tutor.
