About Lyn
Having studied at Portsmouth University I have focussed on fine art practice and art history.
My work investigates notions of beauty and man’s troubled relationship with the planet. I explore how man has a desire to manicure and tame nature in to neat structures, whilst filling it with detritus and castoffs.
I currently exhibit and sell my work and am preparing to coordinate 5 artists, and myself to exhibit in a garden for an arts trail. I have created work with groups for exhibition from age 7 to 70.
I work in any medium that meets the needs of the art, message and aesthetic.

My teaching is bespoke to the individual on a one to one or within small groups.
I explore subjects of interest to the pupils, encourage art research and experimentation. Working with journals and sketchbooks, we create a journey of a pupils ability and experimentation, ready to create final works through to college applications or exhibition if required.
I am a curator and can teach the process of exhibiting and interpreting art.
Lessons are usually 1 hour practicals and half hour reviews.
I have taught groups workshops and classes over a 20 year period in an art centre. I have visited schools, created community art, curated large and small exhibitions.
